The Facts

The truth about traditional textiles

The textile industry is one of the most environmentally harmful industries on the planet. We set out to change that.

Water Pollution

17-20% of the worlds industrial water pollution comes from textile dyeing and finishing. Over 200,000 tons of synthetic dyes end up in rivers and oceans every year.

Our chemical free process relies entirely on rainwater, this means no wastewater or water pollution.

Pesticides

Globally, 16-25% of all pesticides are used to grow conventional cotton.

Our 100% organically grown cotton uses 0 pesticides.

Synthetic Dyes

Over 200,000 tons of synthetic dyes end up in rivers and oceans every year.

We use no dyes in the production of Blaynk fabrics.
